Success Story

Hello there Ms. Bartosz,

I just wanted to send you a quick email on behalf of my daughter. This past year, I became my youngest daughters girl scout leader (currently in sixth grade). My mother was my girl scout leader so when I was asked to step in I was extremely excited. As their leader, I decided that I wanted to teach them a wide range of knowledge on topics that will be most useful to them for life. We have gone over topics like first aid, fire safety, nutrition and most recently peer pressure. My scouts all entered middle school this year so I thought the topic of peer pressure was really important. I decided to look into some resources about that came across many articles about drug and alcohol prevention for teens. I decided I wanted to focus more on that because I think it is a very important thing to teach my kids. My older daughter has been helping me look for resources on the internet about under age drinking and alcohol prevention and she came across your page, http://www.nveudl.com/parent-section.html. As a mother, I just wanted to personally thank you! You have some great resources and information on such an important topic. As a parent it is difficult but important to talk about drugs and alcohol with your kids.

My older daughter Kim wanted to send you back another page that she found about underage drinking and alcohol and we thought you might want to add to your page because it could help you and others as well "Alcohol Information Center" http://www.datehookup.com/content-alcohol-information-center.htm. Would you be able to consider adding it for her? I would love to surprise her and show her that her research will help others.

If you have any tips for our group, I'd love to hear them.

Thanks again,
